Sensory Play Friday: Shaving Foam

Today I sprayed shaving foam on a large flat tray.  Lyla started off cautiously with only her finger tips in the foam.

Slowly she started exploring with how smooth the foam feels.

A perfect activity for today as she is still not well. This activity was calming and therapeutic for her. 

She relaxed totally as she spread the foam on the tray, totally engaged in the activity.

After a week of grumpiness, she had a few minutes of peace and a smile on her face. For me, that's what made this activity extra special.
